Madurai - The Traditional 'Temple City', as it is often called is now climbing up the ladder to being converted into a Developed City, with much focus on the Metro Lifestyle. The City which is in a transition phase, cannot leave behind its historical past, nor can it take up the new look instantly.

Yes, I am amazed at the complexities that exist in the City of Madurai. The Triology that you have rightly pointed out in the form of 'History'....'Aesthetics'.....& 'Humane', are all hallmarks of this place, which has links with ancient times.
We can certainly try to explore some of these vital aspects in this blogpost.
